Corporate Objectives
We believe that global energy markets are currently experiencing fundamental changes to meet the challenges
of the twenty first century. In particular, government policies to encourage the growth of renewable energy are providing
significant opportunities to small businesses and entrepreneurs. Local market knowledge and contacts combined with access to
capital are now more important than mere scale in ensuring success. Small organisations are proving more agile than their
multinational competitors in capitalising on these new opportunities.
As consolidation inevitably occurs, those businesses with the most effective access to new capital and the smartest approach to
using what capital they have will be the survivors. As a niche advisor we aim to identify those businesses which have the potential
to succeed and work with them to ensure their success.
Track Record
The partners of EFA have each had up to a decade of experience advising and
raising capital for some of the most successful European wind energy businesses.
Over this time EFA has advised on capital raisings, innovative lease structures,
debt restructurings and M&A structures
for over 700MW of capacity with aggregate transaction values in excess of
$1BN. In addition, the partners of EFA in their former careers are all market
leaders in their particular fields of expertise.
Value Proposition
We believe that EFA has a unique combination of financial engineering, project development, tax and
accounting and legal expertise to provide a full service package to our clients. This means we can conceive, develop and
execute optimal transactions in a highly flexible and timely manner.
Unlike banks or other captive advisory teams we do not have a vested interest in a particular product, market or financing instrument.
This means we always seek to deliver the optimal solutions to our clients regardless of their source.
